Proudly serving our community on the beautiful Queensland’s Hervey Bay, Hervey Bay Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) is much more than a surf club — we are a community of volunteers, families, lifesavers, athletes and friends who come together to keep our community safe.

As a not-for-profit community service organisation, our volunteers provide an essential emergency response and lifesaving service to beachgoers on and around Torquay Beach. From regular volunteer patrols and emergency rescues to first aid, water safety and support at community events, our members are always ready to lend a hand when our community needs us.

But lifesaving is only part of what we do.

Hervey Bay SLSC offers something for everyone, with a range of sporting, training and social activities for the young — and the young at heart.
